Yonkers Force JV Triumphs Over Carmel Rams in Rain-Soaked Battle

The Yonkers Force JV football team battled both the elements and their opponents when they faced off against the Carmel Rams in a gritty game on a rainy morning. Despite the challenging conditions, the Force JV displayed their resilience, dominating the game with a final score of 12 to 6.

Once again, the key to victory for the Force JV was their formidable defense, which allowed only one touchdown throughout the match. Their ability to shut down the opposing team’s offensive efforts was a testament to their dedication and skill.

Quarterback #17 Omar Areche played a pivotal role in this victory, contributing to both the offensive and defensive aspects of the game. He showcased his versatility by scoring a rushing touchdown, accumulating 83 passing yards, and gaining an impressive 65 rushing yards. However, Areche also encountered a hiccup in the form of an interception, which didn’t deter him from leading his team to success.
