Joseph Venice of Yonkers, a Stepinac High School Alumnus (Class of ’04) and member of its faculty, has been named head coach of the Yonkers Force Football team.
Venice, who excelled both academically and athletically at Stepinac, returned to his alma mater in 2009 after earning B.A. Degrees in English and Communications from Fordham University and a Masters in English Education from Lehman College. He is completing a second Masters in Education.
In addition to teaching courses in American literature, British literature and College Writing, Venice served as head coach of the Crusaders junior varsity team, achieving a 60-11 overall AAA Finalist record for five of the last six years.
