Yonkers Force Concludes Season with Tough Loss to Ramapo, But Bright Future Ahead

In a bittersweet season finale, the Yonkers Force faced the Ramapo Gryphons once again, falling 28-18 in a game that tested the team’s resilience and resolve. Just two weeks ago, Yonkers Force clinched a hard-fought 20-18 victory over Ramapo, but this rematch presented new challenges. Despite battling for every yard, the Force fell short, wrapping up the season with a 4-5 record.

The team worked hard to build momentum, but missed opportunities to convert key plays, with QB #7 Nazir Fields and WR #1 Joshua Testamark facing an uncharacteristic struggle to sync on the field. The Gryphons capitalized on these moments, giving them the edge they needed. Although the playoffs were out of reach this season, the game offered Yonkers Force one last chance to show their grit and determination. It was a chance they took to heart, fighting to the end in front of their dedicated fans.

Under the direction of Coach Joe Venice, who skillfully led this young team through the highs and lows of the season, Yonkers Force has laid a strong foundation for what’s to come. Coach Venice and his staff worked tirelessly to develop an inexperienced team into a cohesive unit, building a culture of hard work, unity, and growth. While the loss of 20 graduating seniors will be felt, the program’s depth continues to grow, with promising new talent ready to step up and make their mark. With another year of development, strength training, and the addition of new players eager to contribute, the future of Yonkers Force shines brightly.

To our loyal fans who filled the stands each week, thank you! Your enthusiasm has fueled our journey, and we are proud to have had you behind us every step of the way. We look forward to returning next season, stronger and more prepared, ready to give our all for the city of Yonkers. Until then, stay tuned for updates on off-season training and development as Yonkers Force prepares for a powerful comeback in 2025.

Here’s to an exciting future. Go Force! We’ll see you next year!
